We help people restart progress.

ABC Opportunity Pathways is a service-first workforce remediation organization for people who need focused support before — and after — employment.

One place. One plan. A connected path forward.

ABC's One Place Skills and Credential Model brings assessment, academic learning, digital skills, workplace practice, credential preparation and employment transition together through one coordinated program.

One Participant Execution Plan and an assigned ABC contact connect the services so participants do not have to arrange a separate program for every skill gap. ABC coaches guide the learning; qualified outside providers deliver regulated training and examinations when required. Services depend on assessed need, funding and provider availability.

GED preparation with Aztec

Instructor-supported GED and foundational learning using Aztec resources, including pre-GED and English or Spanish adult basic education as available.

Northstar digital assessment

Assess computer skills and target instruction in the digital tasks participants need for work.

City exam preparation

Practice reading, mathematics, writing, reasoning, following directions and test-taking skills for a selected city job examination.

Opportunity should not end where a skill gap begins.

Many participants complete programs, apply for jobs, or enter employment while still carrying unresolved barriers. A missed skill can become a missed opportunity.

ABC identifies the specific gap, provides targeted instruction and practice, documents progress, and supports long-term retention. Our services complement — not replace — workforce agencies, employers, educators, and community partners.

Our mission

To help workforce participants and employed workers strengthen essential skills, demonstrate job readiness, and sustain employment through individualized remediation and retention support.

How we do the work

01

Dignity

People are more than a score, setback, or past outcome.

02

Individualization

Instruction begins with each participant's real needs and goals.

03

Practical Learning

Participants practice, receive feedback, and demonstrate skills.

04

Accountability

Progress is documented through evidence and reassessment.

05

Partnership

Strong outcomes connect participants, partners, and employers.

06

Retention

Placement is not the finish line; staying employed matters.
